Doch Deutschland trotzt dem Abschwung mit starken Exportzahlen. Allein im Dezember lagen die Bestellungen aus dem Ausland um 4,3 Prozent über dem Vormonatsniveau, das ist fast doppelt so hoch wie von Analysten erwartet. Mit Respekt schauen unsere europäischen Partner auf uns. Aber nicht wir müssen unsere Wettbewerbsfähigkeit senken, um auf ein einheitliches europäisches Niveau zu kommen. Die anderen EU-Staaten müssen ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit stärken, um Europa als Ganzes wieder zu einem starken globalen Akteur werden zu lassen. Deutschlands Erfolg beruht auf den fleißigen und gut ausgebildeten Menschen in unserem Land und den Stärken unserer heimischen Unternehmen. Die CSU-Landesgruppe möchte die Standortfaktoren für unsere Industrieunternehmen weiter verbessern. Sie hat dazu auf ihrer Klausurtagung im vergangenen Januar 32 Forderungen erhoben. Ausgangspunkt für eine funktionierende Industrielandschaft ist eine gesicherte und bezahlbare Energieversorgung. Die Energiekosten haben einen immer größer werdenden Einfluss auf die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Unternehmen. Wir wollen, dass unvermeidbare Kosten sachgerecht verteilt werden. Die Umlage im Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz darf die Zielmarke von 3,5 Cent/kWh nicht überschreiten. Deutschland hat mit die höchsten Energie- und Stromsteuern und dadurch mit die höchsten Energie- und Strompreise in der Europäischen Union und weltweit. Ich erwarte, dass die Bundesregierung dem Parlament rechtzeitig einen Gesetzentwurf zur Fortführung des Spitzenausgleichs nach 2012 vorlegt. Dabei dürfen neben der Einführung von Energiemanagement und Energieaudit keine zusätzlichen bürokratischen Hürden und keine zusätzlichen ordnungsrechtlichen Anforderungen erhoben werden. Auch sollte geprüft werden, die ermäßigten Steuersätze wieder auf die erste Stufe der Ökosteuer zurückzuführen"
